Carrying full of doubts and accompanied by Baby Dragon, the group resolutely set out on the long journey toward the Misty Forest. Along the way, mountains undulated endlessly and the terrain grew increasingly rugged and difficult to traverse. The biting mountain wind blew like sharp whistles, constantly lashing against their bodies as if trying to blow away their courage and determination. The closer they got to the Misty Forest, the more humid and sticky the air became, and the ground turned muddy. Every step required tremendous effort, as though invisible hands were dragging at their ankles from beneath the earth. After several days of arduous trekking, they finally reached the edge of the Misty Forest. The forest before them was tightly shrouded in heavy fog, which looked like an impenetrable veil, blocking the interior from view and making it completely impossible to make out what lay inside. A damp, decaying odor drifted out from the forest, mixed with an aura of unknown danger that pierced straight into everyone's nasal passages and made their hair stand on end. "There are powerful magical fluctuations pervading this forest," Bai Zhi said with a solemn expression, gripping her staff tightly with knuckles turning white from the force. "We must proceed with the utmost caution." Her gaze revealed vigilance and worry as she constantly scanned her surroundings, trying to catch a trace of danger from the mist.
