The Moniah was already racing at maximum horsepower across the surface of the Yangtze River. The curtain of rain seemed to be torn apart, the gale-force winds made it nearly impossible to stand, and the xenon searchlights illuminated the churning foam at the stern until it was as white as snow.
"There's less than a hundred meters left. This thing's cruising speed is faster than the Moniah!" Professor Mans turned back and roared at the top of his lungs. "Are the underwater charges ready? If they're ready, throw them down now and let this big bastard eat his fill!"
