Following a bout of noise loud enough to cause a ringing in the ears, a massive white airplane touched down at John F. Kennedy International Airport in the Queens borough of New York. As the largest airport in New York, it was situated roughly fifteen miles from downtown Manhattan.
The aircraft's landing gear lowered, and after rolling down the lengthy straight runway, the fuselage gradually steadied.
