Quan Ruifeng had a stack of photographs of the footprints found at the scene distributed. Because of the varying depths and the different ways weight was distributed, they could prove the person had been wearing height-increasing insoles. Although there was currently no evidence to confirm the exact height of these insoles, since the suspect was falsifying her height, it was highly likely that this tied into previous cases.
Furthermore, there were other shared characteristics. Though they were minor, Quan Ruifeng pushed hard for the cases to be merged for investigation, and it was through this diligence that he had uncovered even more evidence.
