Meng Qilun stepped onto the Five Saints Platform one cautious step at a time. Although his pace was agonizingly slow, Murong Fu felt as though a giant grizzly bear were charging straight at him.
Murong Fu stood nearly six feet tall, but Meng Qilun towered over him, reaching nearly six and a half feet. His body was a mass of knotted muscle; a rough estimate suggested the man weighed at least three hundred pounds. With every step Meng Qilun took, the Five Saints Platform shuddered beneath his weight. A Red-thread Snake was coiled around his shoulders, but against the dense ridges of his muscles, it was barely visible.
Upon reaching the center of the platform, Meng Qilun cupped his hands in a salute. "Meng Qilun, Sixth Elder of the Five Venoms Sect, pays his respects to Young Master Murong."
