Meng Po's Five Mortal Tribulations

When the legendary Meng Po Soup runs dry, the underworld faces its greatest crisis. Meng Po herself must descend to the mortal realm, living through five heart-wrenching lifetimes to gather tears infused with every human emotion. From a starving refugee to a blind maiden, from a qin musician to a sword forger's muse—each life brings forbidden love, bitter tragedy, and soul-deep longing. Only when all five tribulations are complete can the soup be restored and souls find peace once more.
