To protect all living beings in the world, the gods engaged in a heaven-shaking, earth-shattering war against the demons here. The aftermath of that battle fractured the earth, shifted mountains and rivers, and ultimately formed the peculiar, stone-filled Zhangjiajie we see today."
"It is said that some of these strangely shaped rocks were transformed from the weapons of the gods, while others are the remains of sealed demons. Quite a few brave cultivators have ventured deep into this place to explore, trying to find treasures left behind by the gods or to uncover the secrets of the sealed demons, but most of them never returned. Because of this, Zhangjiajie is filled with mystery and danger, making people both yearn for it and fear it."
