The result is freakish weather and a freakish national system... In short, not a single thing here is normal. Though it was not strictly the plum rain season, it was still that kind of dreary period when nobody except office workers commuting for a living would ever step outside to play. People were far too busy dealing with laundry and dehumidification to even think about hanging out with middle school classmates they hadn't seen in ages.
