Chapter 77

Haneoka Girls' High School had an old tradition that had been passed down for decades. Around the beginning of July every year, the school would organize a series of activities for the students, including but not limited to study trips, the school festival, and a baseball tournament. These were immediately followed by three grueling days of final exams covering five subjects: Chinese language and literature, analytic geometry, physics, English, and history—pretty much the same as all the neighboring schools. The schedule was so packed that students were left with virtually no time to review, forcing them to showcase their true academic capabilities through the finals... At least, that was how it used to be.
