He slowly smoothed down his cuff, concealing the rose in an instant, his movements as graceful as if he were burying a dark secret. "If you like it, get one tattooed," he said in a cold tone. Yet, his fingertips brushed unconsciously over the hidden tattoo; the slight ridge of skin beneath his touch made his eyes darken. Yan Shuting chuckled, leaving an ambiguous mark of red lipstick on the rim of her glass. "I’ve heard that some people compare their beloved to a flower." She took a step forward, the scent of her perfume mingling with the night breeze. "If I’m not mistaken, this flower was tattooed for that Miss Xu, wasn't it?"
