Winter had arrived, the biting cold grew steadily sharper, and the temperatures at dawn and dusk both dropped below freezing. Students across the campus pulled on down jackets over their uniforms, making them look like a row of plump, rather comical penguins.
The coursework for the three experimental classes was essentially finished, leaving only a few electives. Yet, mindful of the teaching schedules in the ordinary classes, the teachers found it difficult to push ahead any further.
Consequently, in the daily classes, teachers handed out practice exercises for the students to drill, holding off on step-by-step analysis and Q&A until the next session.
