Qin Xin observed Chen Zhezhe as she ran, her small hand subconsciously squeezing his palm. A healthy person has a slow, strong pulse, a ruddy complexion, and sharp eyes. Due to spending too much time indoors, Chen Zhezhe had previously been in a sub-health state; it was just that he was young enough for it not to show. Once he grew older and his vitality began to wane, all sorts of physical ailments would have surfaced. Yet Chen Zhezhe now had vigorous eyes, and though his muscles could not possibly bulk up overnight, his body had become much sturdier. Having run alongside Qin Xin for a long time, his breathing—though no longer suppressed by the room's restrictions—remained rhythmic.
