Yue Xi was at her seat writing the framework for the proposal. Junhe sat directly beside her, startling Yue Xi, who quickly glanced around.
"What's wrong?" Junhe asked.
Yue Xi lowered her head and whispered, "You have too many admirers, and they're so crazy."
Junhe said dismissively, "Don't mind them."
Junhe would steal glances at Yue Xi from time to time, but quickly looked away just as their eyes were about to meet. Junhe proposed an idea, and Yue Xi nodded gently in agreement, a barely perceptible blush rising on her face. Junhe, with his rational thinking, organized the framework and logic of the proposal. Yue Xi utilized her delicate feminine perception to add some creative details to the proposal. The two occasionally exchanged ideas in low voices and inspired each other.
As the proposal progressed, their interactions gradually increased and became more natural. Accidental touches made their hearts race, but both pretended as if nothing had happened.
Since they had already researched the data and cases beforehand, the general framework of the proposal was quickly completed. They also had a general idea for the PPT. Seeing that it was past five in the afternoon, time for dinner, they began to pack up their things.
As Yue Xi stood up, she quickly looked back at her seat. Junhe took off his jacket and handed it to Yue Xi. Yue Xi blushed and didn't reach out. Junhe directly tied the jacket around her waist and said, "It's okay now." Yue Xi whispered, "Thank you!"
Female Dormitory Room 420
In the evening, Yue Xi was drinking brown sugar water in her dorm room, chatting with Chen Tongtong.
"Tongtong, how's your new partner?"
"He's okay, much better than the previous one. How's your proposal coming along?"
"The basic framework is almost done. Just need to add some details, and it'll be fine. I've already finished my PPT."
"I'm so envious of you, being done with it. Are you on your period? Drinking brown sugar water?"
"Yeah, I almost stained my pants today."
"Is this Wang Junhe's jacket? It looks familiar," Tongtong pointed to the hanging clothes.
"Yes."
"Wow, he even lent you his own clothes. That's progress."
"Progress? He scared me to death all the way here. I was so afraid people around would look at me. His admirers are too crazy."
"That's true. He's so outstanding; of course, he'll attract attention. Don't mind what others think."
As they were talking, Wang Man, who had been on the balcony taking a call, rushed in, crying as she packed her things and chaotically moving suitcases. Yue Xi and Tongtong quickly asked, "Manman, what's wrong?"
Wang Man cried, "My mom is sick and needs surgery. I have to go home."
Tongtong, putting on her jacket and changing her shoes, said, "Don't rush, pack slowly. I'll go find a taxi."
Wang Man was desperately crying, "I don't know what to pack. What about my proposal?" Yue Xi helped her pack two changes of clothes and said, "Don't panic. Take your documents. I'll write the proposal. If you forget anything, I'll mail it to you."
At this moment, Lin Yuan called. Wang Man smiled and said to him, "My mom is sick, I have to go home. My mom is sick." Lin Yuan immediately said, "Don't cry. I'll go back with you. Don't worry."
Wang Man frantically packed her belongings. Junhe sent a message saying he had already bought train tickets for both of them. Yue Xi had bought some food from the campus supermarket for them to eat on the way.
At the school gate, Tongtong had found a taxi. Junhe was waiting with Lin Yuan. Wang Man and Yue Xi also ran over with their suitcases. Junhe put the suitcases in the trunk. Lin Yuan patted Junhe and said, "Thanks, bro."
Junhe said, "Be safe in the car. Call if you need anything."
Lin Yuan and Wang Man got into the car and left. Junhe looked at Yue Xi wearing his jacket and smiled, "Is my jacket warm?" Yue Xi then realized she had put on the wrong clothes in her haste.
Junhe patted her and said, "Wear it. It looks good on you."
