These fierce battles had already drawn the keen attention and intense scrutiny of the high-ranking commanders within the Japanese military headquarters. Inside the headquarters, the atmosphere was tense and oppressive. The commanders sat around the conference table with grim expressions, staring fixedly at the reports of Leitao’s attacks, their hearts filled with rage and confusion.
