Leitao and Alice hid inside an abandoned warehouse, listening tensely to the movements of the Japanese Army outside. The warehouse was filled with a stale, musty odor; the light was dim, with only a few thin slivers of sunlight piercing through the cracks in the dilapidated windows.
Leitao scanned his surroundings vigilantly, searching for a path to make a safe escape. His eyes were sharp, missing no potential clues. Suddenly, his gaze landed on a pile of debris in the corner of the warehouse. There appeared to be something unusual about it.
