Leitao piloted his F-35B fighter jet like a streak of black lightning, plunging straight into the clouds. In the blink of an eye, the fuselage was tightly enveloped by the thick, ink-dark clouds, concealing every trace of its presence. The fighter's fire-control radar locked firmly onto the frantically fleeing Zero Fighter, continuously emitting precise locking signals.
"Hmph, you think you can get away this easily? In your dreams!" Leitao muttered under his breath, his voice filled with unquestionable certainty. His hands gripped the control stick steadily, his movements calm and practiced as he hung far back behind the Zero Fighter with extreme stealth. He knew very well that by tracking this Zero Fighter along its flight path, he would inevitably find the Japanese Army airfield. Once that happened, he could deal them a fatal blow and completely annihilate their air power.
During the flight, Leitao kept his eyes glued to the constantly flickering data on the instrument panel. Just then, the clouds below his fighter suddenly split open, and the fierce, tragic scene of battle on the ground burst unannounced into his field of vision. Leitao's gaze instantly hardened, and without a moment's hesitation, he pressed the button on the control panel to activate the AN/APG-81 active electronically scanned array radar.
