On the other side of the jungle, Xu Keming and Muto Muraki were still locked in a fierce struggle. Although Muto Muraki was wounded, his combat prowess remained formidable. Spotting an opening in Xu Keming’s defense, he thrust his dagger forward with a violent lunge. Xu Keming dodged to the side, the blade grazing his clothing. Seizing the moment, Xu Keming grabbed Muto Muraki’s wrist and twisted it with force. Muto Muraki cried out in pain, and his dagger clattered to the ground.
At that exact moment, the rapid thundering of hooves approached from afar. Both Xu Keming and Muto Muraki were distracted by the sudden sound, briefly halting their struggle to look toward the noise. A horse galloped toward them at breakneck speed, its hooves kicking up clouds of dust, the figure on its back appearing and disappearing through the gaps in the trees.
Like an arrow released from a bow, the horse charged toward the two Military Statistics Bureau agents with lightning speed. Before they could react, a ninja hidden on the horse’s back revealed himself. Dressed in a tight-fitting black stealth suit, revealing only eyes as cold as frost, the ninja wielded a cavalry saber that glinted with a chilling light in the sun.
