The night was heavy, like a dense black cloth draped tightly over the entire mining area. Xu Keming and Leitao took the lead, with the members of the Netherworld and the Military Statistics Action Team fanning out behind them. Their footsteps were light yet firm as they pressed steadily into the heart of the mine. The surroundings were eerily quiet; occasionally, a mountain breeze would sweep through, causing the forest to rustle, a prelude to the impending danger. Reaching an open area, Leitao suddenly raised his hand, palm downward, and pressed firmly, signaling the team to halt. He quickly crouched, drew his dagger, and rapidly sketched a rough outline of the mine on the gravel-strewn ground. The team members gathered around, some kneeling on one knee, others bending over, their eyes locked on the makeshift map. "Listen up, everyone," Leitao said, his voice low but clear. His index finger traced the winding lines of the map before tapping heavily on several key locations. "Based on the intelligence we gathered earlier and the current situation, these narrow passages and corners are certainly riddled with enemy lookouts and traps. We cannot keep advancing so recklessly; we must adjust our strategy immediately."
