Though she preserved the foundation of the Uchiha Clan, she sustained incurable injuries due to the forbidden technique experiments and life-and-death battles. Once she passed her physical prime, her condition deteriorated rapidly.
Although Uchiha Chiri ultimately did not become the head of the Uchiha, she still commanded immensely deep prestige within the clan, bestowing upon Uchiha Mikoto and Chi a very special status.
