Hanzō of the Salamander then spoke, his tone filled with envy as he addressed Hatake Sakumo first: "I had long heard of the reputation of Konoha's White Fang from the Daimyo, but I never gave it enough attention. Seeing you today, the reputation is well-deserved indeed. I truly envy you folks in Konoha."
"You flatter me, Lord Hanzō. It is truly the honor of a lifetime to witness your swordsmanship today," Hatake Sakumo replied politely, before adding, "I am about to draw my blade. Please be on your guard, my lord."
Hanzō of the Salamander said nothing in response to Hatake Sakumo's words. Or rather, at this moment, he only wanted to speak through the blade in his hand; he was growing rather impatient to test Hatake Sakumo's swordsmanship.
