Of the two men beside him, one hung his head, clenching his fists and biting his teeth to suppress the grief within; the other gently patted his shoulder in an attempt to offer some comfort, though his own eyes were red and filled with sorrow. At that moment, the wind grew fiercer and the rain more violent. The six men carrying the coffin faltered slightly in their pace, but pressed onward with greater resolve. Their figures appeared so small amidst the wind and rain, yet so steadfast.
