By the time Yuka finished reading the entire scroll in her hands, it was already four o'clock in the afternoon, leaving just one hour before Momoko was scheduled to pick her up.
She rolled up the scroll, raised her head, and massaged her somewhat stiff neck a couple of times, then rubbed her legs, which had grown numb from sitting. Once she felt a bit more comfortable, she slowly stood up.
The experience of reading at Naruto's place wasn't bad. During the day, most of the residents were out, and even indoors, people didn't make much noise. For the most part, people deliberately walked around Naruto's place, rarely causing any commotion. It was nice and quiet. The only downside was that sitting on the floor was rather uncomfortable; she would definitely have to ask Momoko to buy some blankets and a comfortable cushion to place on the floor, and the coffee table would ideally need to be a bit higher, since she liked to keep her back straight.
