As the morning light began to break, a commotion stirred across the various courtyards within the academy. The crowds gradually awoke, and Shi Wei woke up as well. This could be considered one of the more restful sleeps he had managed recently; after all, previously he had either been fleeing for his life or sleeping out in the wilderness. At least now he had a bed and a quilt. Although they were nothing special, Shi Wei still knew how to be content. Walking over to the bedroom door, a strange sensation welled up in his heart, but Shi Wei paid it no mind and gently pushed the door open.
"Hmm?" Shi Wei looked somewhat surprised at the crowd gathered around his doorway. Almost every courtyard had experienced fighting last night, and their group was no exception, with a motive that was surprisingly unanimous: fighting over who would be the boss. When Shi Wei returned last night, the fighting was still ongoing, and he had sensed people watching from the shadows, but he didn't care. Instead, he simply found a room for himself and walked in. A few people had tried to make a move on him, but not a single one of them could even touch him.
As for the people before him now, Shi Wei hadn't seen them when he came back last night, so they presumably hadn't participated in that pointless brawl. His thoughts drifted swiftly, but in reality, it was just a fraction of a second. "Morning, everyone."
