Ninth Class Citizen

Na Rong survived humanity's final war through sheer cowardice—only to wake in a world where the war never happened. Her military service? Erased. Her spatial powers? Gone. Good riddance, she thinks; without abilities, trouble can't find her. All she wants is to live quietly as a professional couch potato. But fate has other plans. She stumbles into becoming one of the era's top gene optimizers, climbing ranks she never wanted. Then the impossible happens: her fallen comrades, dead in another realm, begin appearing in this rewritten reality. Something is very, very wrong with this world.
