Yao Lingxuan crossed her arms, her gaze cold as she stared at Su Yan.
Chen Jinglun chimed in with a well-meaning reminder, "Su Yan, while the security guards haven't arrived yet, leave now and save yourself some dignity. Otherwise, you’ll be the one who ends up humiliated."
"Don't waste your breath on him. He doesn't understand human speech anymore!" Yao Lingxuan said, looking at him with disgust.
No sooner had they finished speaking than two security guards approached Su Yan, their faces grim. "We don't welcome you in the Shen family home. Please leave!"
Su Yan glanced at the people present and asked indifferently, "When did I ever say I was here for the Shen family?"
Thinking he was just stirring up more trouble, Yao Lingxuan asked indignantly, "If you aren't here for the Shen family, then whose house are you at?"
"The Jiang family," Su Yan replied with a smile. "Old Master Jiang invited me to be a guest at the Jiang residence."
Yao Lingxuan froze for a moment before bursting into a mocking laugh. "Su Yan, oh, Su Yan. I know you care about your pride, but think about what you're saying. Who is Old Master Jiang? Do you really think he would invite you to his home?"
Chen Jinglun shook his head and sighed, "Su Yan, stop making up excuses. You couldn't get into the Shen family’s front door, and you certainly won't get into the Jiang family’s either!"
Shen Jianian also felt that Su Yan was spouting nonsense. How could someone as insignificant as him in Yunhai possibly receive an invitation from Old Master Jiang?
Shen Jianian waved his hand. "Don't waste time with him. Drag him away!"
The two bodyguards, seeing him as stubborn and ungrateful, moved to seize him. But they had barely touched him when Su Yan slapped them both away, sending them collapsing to the ground, unable to get up.
His actions drew immediate outrage. Yao Lingxuan, in particular, felt he had gone completely insane. This was the entrance to the Shen family estate, and those were the Shen family’s own guards. Did Su Yan not understand the consequences of offending the Shen family? Didn't he care about what would happen to her? By doing this, Su Yan was practically declaring war on the Shen family. Chen Jinglun stared at Su Yan in shock; he had never expected him to be so reckless.
Shen Jianian narrowed his eyes, his tone turning grave. "You are the first person to ever dare injure our Shen family bodyguards!"
"So what?" Su Yan asked carelessly.
"Good! Very good!" Shen Jianian was so angry he laughed. "I'll see just how long you can remain so arrogant."
Just as Shen Jianian was about to give the order, Xu Guangyao arrived late.
"Young Master Five!"
Xu Guangyao hurried to Su Yan’s side, offering an apologetic smile. "Mr. Su is an honored guest of Old Master Jiang. Please, out of respect for him, don't hold this against him!"
"What did you say?" Shen Jianian naturally recognized Xu Guangyao. He was stunned by his words and turned to look at Su Yan. "Is he really a guest invited by Old Master Jiang?"
"That is correct!" Xu Guangyao replied.
Yao Lingxuan and Chen Jinglun looked at Su Yan in utter disbelief. What could Su Yan possibly have done to know Old Master Jiang? How could he have received an invitation from him?
Su Yan crossed his arms and asked lazily, "I was just passing by, and you were ready to drive me away. The Shen family certainly puts on quite a show, don't they?"
Shen Jianian’s expression shifted, and he cast an annoyed look at Yao Lingxuan. If the man was just passing by to visit the Jiang family, what did that have to do with the Shen family?
Yao Lingxuan finally realized she had made a massive blunder. Su Yan hadn't come to the Shen family to find her at all; he was on his way to the Jiang family. If she hadn't stopped him, none of this misunderstanding would have occurred. Still, how could she ever blame herself? This was all Su Yan’s fault. If he hadn't shown up here, she never would have been confused.
Yao Lingxuan’s beautiful eyes turned cold. "What are you doing at the Jiang family's house?"
Before Su Yan could speak, Xu Guangyao answered for him, "Old Madam Jiang is in poor health. Old Master Jiang specifically invited Mr. Su to treat her."
"He... he is going to treat Old Madam Jiang?"
Yao Lingxuan sounded as if she had heard a fairy tale. "Are you all out of your minds? He has never studied medicine. What right does he have to treat Old Madam Jiang?"
Xu Guangyao harbored the same doubts, but he said cautiously, "This is Old Master Jiang’s wish."
Yao Lingxuan looked at Su Yan, furious. "Have you been spewing nonsense outside again, making them think you know medicine?"
"How much do you actually know about me?" Su Yan countered.
Yao Lingxuan retorted with contempt, "Do you think you’re worth the effort of me knowing that much?"
Su Yan looked at the now-stranger that was Yao Lingxuan, his eyes filled with indifference. "In the future, you won't have the qualifications to know me at all."
Yao Lingxuan sneered, though a deep sense of unease rose in her heart. She hadn't divorced Su Yan yet, and he was constantly courting death. A convict who had spent three years in prison—bragging that he could cure Old Madam Jiang’s illness? He had to be either stupid or insane! She didn't know what kind of drugs the Xu family had taken to believe his lies and act crazy along with him. If this continued, she would surely be implicated, and the wealth and status she had spent three years building would be wiped out.
Divorce! She had to get a divorce immediately!
"Su Yan, there is one more thing you haven't signed! Sign it, and from now on, I won't ask a single question about anything you do!"
Yao Lingxuan signaled to her assistant, Wu Li, who immediately pulled the divorce agreement from the car.

Wu Li took the divorce agreement and handed Duoduo over to Su Yan. Duoduo was clearly hostile toward Su Yan, struggling violently in his arms in an attempt to return to Yao Lingxuan.
