Stepping through the narrow mountain pass, Shu He and her companion were immediately struck by the sight of three or four towering cliffs that pierced the clouds. The mountains were barren, dominated by eerie, colossal rock formations. The peaks were imposing and majestic; standing among them, one could deeply appreciate the meaning of "divine craftsmanship" and "natural wonder." A vast, wondrous valley stretched between the mountains. Though not as immense as the Outer Mountain Valley, it was still breathtakingly large. In the center of the valley lay a massive lake, nourishing the countless creatures and plants of the Hundred Beasts Valley.
