As it turned out, after Qingfeng and Qingliu had finished delivering breakfast that morning, they had headed to the North Street to look for work. Yet, they had crouched there all morning without a single soul willing to hire them.
Qingfeng decided that this couldn't go on, so he took Qingliu with him to take the initiative, visiting several large restaurants on North Street to ask if there was any work to be done.
Almost every restaurant turned them away, simply because they were still just half-grown children, and they were even pushed out of the establishments.
