The Rhinoceros King was easily Level 45 or higher, though still a little short of the Level 50 Golden Boss officially announced to drop a Guild Token. Even so, its attacks were no picnic; each hit dealing close to 200 damage still hurt quite a bit. Fortunately, its attack frequency was extremely low, so I could manage for the time being.
The Rhinoceros King was tall. If I only attacked its legs, a huge portion of my damage would be mitigated, whereas striking its neck inflicted maximum damage. That forced me to jump and slash at the Rhinoceros King's neck, making for a rather comical scene: the top-tier Swordsman clad in full elite gear looking utterly wretched while fighting a monster.
What made it most aggravating was that the Rhinoceros King's attacks carried a knockback effect. Every time I was hit, my body would stagger backward a few steps before I had to rush back in to slash again. Only during the three seconds of Frozen Slash could I hack away to my heart's content. Needless to say, my killing speed was painfully slow. Good thing my attacks could pierce its defense, or else I wouldn't have stood a chance. Just imagine thirty players whose gear and level held no advantage ganging up on the Rhinoceros King—that sea of "-1" and "MISS" popups would truly be a magnificent spectacle.
