Combo Strike has a 20-second cooldown, so we collected the quest items at the incredible rate of roughly one monster every ten seconds. As expected, the drop rate for these quest monsters wasn't high—only about 15%, meaning we needed to kill an average of seven or eight of them to get a single drop. Fortunately, our killing speed was fast enough that in less than two solid hours, we managed to gather all one hundred Storm Elements. Aside from the quest items, we also obtained nearly twenty pieces of equipment, eight of which were Blue-tier gear around level 60. In about another week, those would sell for a small fortune.
Glancing at my experience bar, I was surprised to find I was only 1% away from level 66. Unawares, I had gained nearly 24% of my current level's experience in just two hours. Murong Shanshan was even more absurd; halfway through our farming, she had already leveled up to 66. It seemed quite likely she would reach level 67 today, since the experience rewards for Orange-tier quests were exceptionally generous, to say the least.
Having collected all the Storm Elements, our next target was the Hellfires at the bottom of Breeze Valley.
