One of the Blazing Flame Beast's giant horns had been completely worn down by the pack of Dragon Crystal Beasts. No one would have expected an Epic-grade BOSS to be driven to such a sorry state by low-level monsters. The reason the Dragon Crystal Beasts had pursued it so relentlessly was essentially because they were fragmented manifestations of the Frost Dragon itself, so it was hardly surprising that they wanted to avenge their master.
Once all the Dragon Crystal Beasts were wiped out, the Blazing Flame Beast's fury naturally fell upon the few of us. It raised its massive claws and brought them down. Protected by Life Guardian, I felt no fear, charging straight forward to counter with a Frozen Slash. Sure enough, before the Blazing Flame Beast's claws could even descend, it was frozen solid.
