I gently clicked learn, and my skill bar changed immediately. The basic Combo skill slot had been replaced by Enhanced Combo, and the skill level remained at 3, unchanged. That was a relief; it didn't reset to zero and force me to grind it back up, especially since the cost of buying mana potions alone was quite substantial. I opened the skill details: Enhanced Combo—Increases the damage of each attack in the Combo skill by 30%, with the bonus damage scaling up as the skill level increases. Damn, I've really struck it rich this time! If a Thief's Stealth and assassination combo were a bug in the game, then my Combo after this enhancement had become truly overpowered. Coupled with my full-strength stat build, my Combo was now enough to instantly kill cloth-armor classes of the same level. Add in the ferocious Frozen Slash to assist, and barring a massive HP Warrior, no class could possibly survive my three-hit combo—which required zero cooldown time—of Frozen Slash (3-second stun) followed by Combo and then Heavy Strike!
