At Jinling Film and Television City, the Azure Coast was a truly unique attraction. Its centerpiece was a massive man-made lake spanning tens of thousands of acres. Along its southern shore stretched a sandy beach over 500 meters long, dotted with planted greenery and artificial reefs to replicate a natural coastal landscape.
All the sand, so the story went, had been hauled straight from the shoreline, then thoroughly washed until it was fine, white, and gorgeous. Interspersed with countless tiny seashell fragments, it caught the sunlight and shimmered with a dusting of starlight, making it one of the most popular destinations in Jinling Film and Television City.
The Azure Coast also served as a shooting location for major film and television crews. After some post-production touch-ups, footage captured here could completely pass for the real thing, saving productions a massive amount of money.
