The so-called VIP area was actually an open-air terrace overlooking the middle and upper levels of the bar. A row of about a dozen tables, each equipped with a parasol, offered a commanding view of the entire parking lot—undoubtedly the best vantage point in the house.
Compared to the crowds below, standing on tiptoe to catch a glimpse of the performance, sitting here was remarkably comfortable and pleasant.
The VIP seating provided to Lu Chen by the Blue Lotus Bar was excellent, located at table No. 5, near the center. However, the waiter who escorted them up explained that due to the high volume of guests, they would have to share the table rather than having it to themselves.
