Inside the huge set constructed for location shooting, three high-definition digital cameras simultaneously aimed upward at Chen Feier suspended in mid-air. With a whistling sound, streaks of blood-red silk ribbons surged outward, creating a truly spectacular scene.
The surroundings of the studio were entirely shielded by green screens. This shooting method, combining physical sets with post-production special effects, was the most popular and technically mature approach of the day.
