On July 25, the kick-off ceremony for the modern urban romantic comedy *My Love from the Star*, co-produced by Chenfei Media, Jingcheng TV, Zhedong TV, and several other organizations, was held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Beijing.
Though billed as a kick-off ceremony, it was essentially a press conference for the production team. Given the immense buzz surrounding *My Love from the Star* online, the event attracted hundreds of media outlets from across the country, with their reporters packing the top-floor conference hall of the Shangri-La Hotel to capacity.
Witnessed by the assembled press, Lu Xi, General Manager of Chenfei Media, officially announced the start of production for *My Love from the Star*. Together with several key figures, she pulled away the red cloth covering the camera.
