The central hall on the ground floor, which normally served multiple functions including a ticket booth, refreshment stand, and audience lounge, had been temporarily transformed into a banquet venue for the night. As the guests emerged from the screening room, long tables had been set up beneath the central chandelier, where a towering champagne pyramid gleamed brightly under the brilliant lights.
The champagne pyramid, fresh flowers, and delicious Western pastries had all been prepared while the film was playing, offering the guests a major surprise and a delightful treat.
