Transforming into a mermaid, Granny Kokoro rescued Xiaohu and the others from the sea. Meanwhile, Franky and Nico Robin seized a Marine warship originally used for transporting prisoners and docked it right beside the Bridge of Hesitation. Granny Kokoro leaped up from the water, bringing Xiaohu and the Straw Hat crew aboard the ship.
"Granny Kokoro... is she actually one of the merman race?" Xiaohu spat out the seawater that had flooded his lungs, watching as the old woman's fish tail transformed back into a pair of legs.
"Hey, what did you just call me, kid?!"
