This was an ability Summer had developed after mastering Tai Chi to a certain degree. It allowed him to briefly hide himself in the void, existing as if in two separate worlds that never intersected. Because of this, no matter how terrifying Enel's attacks were, they could not touch Summer. However, this ability was not invincible: each use lasted only five seconds, after which it would be sealed away for a whole week.
Of course, this was also because Summer's cultivation was not yet profound enough. If he could reach the combat power of the almighty Saitama, then even without dodging, he could take these lightning bolts head-on and merely wipe his forehead afterward.
