Faced with such an answer, Hongjun had no expectations of Laozi or Nuwa. His gaze shifted to the other four: Master Tongtian, Yuanshi Tianzun, Jieyin, and Zhunti.
"Teacher, our Western region is truly lacking in talent; we really cannot send anyone to serve in the Heavenly Court," Zhunti said with a troubled expression, looking as though he were about to weep on the spot.
"Master, I will go back and ask my disciples if any of them are willing to go to the Heavenly Court to serve," Master Tongtian replied. Because he had a large number of disciples, the methods of Laozi and Zhunti were not suitable for him; yet he could not directly reject Hongjun either, so he had to give an ambiguous answer.
