After the Dragon-Han Cataclysm, Yuanqing returned to his own Daoist sanctuary, the Hunyuan Palace on Lingxu Island.
Having returned to his sanctuary, Yuanqing resolved not to emerge from seclusion until he attained the realm of the Hunyuan Da Luo Golden Immortal. Before entering seclusion, however, he sent his attendants, Lanzhi and Lanruo, out to travel across the Primordial World, bestowing upon the two little ones protective Spiritual Treasures so they could journey through the realm.
After Yuanqing entered seclusion, the two attendants traveled across the Primordial World. When they passed by Qingqiu Mountain, the Ancestor of Qingqiu warmly entertained them, and they journeyed together with the three little ones—the daughters of the Qingqiu ancestor—across the Primordial World.
