Yuanqing arranged for the two little ones, Lanruo and Lanzhi, along with the Qingqiu Ancestor and the aloof, icy-cold goddess of the lunar moon, Wangshu.
After finishing his very first sermon in Hunyuan Palace, Yuanqing established his six direct disciples: his eldest disciple, Tongtian; his second disciple, Minghe; his third disciple, Nuwa; his fourth disciple, Houtu; his fifth disciple, Zhenyuanzi; and his sixth disciple, Hongyun.
Next, the two little ones, Lanruo and Lanzhi, were appointed as "Holy Maidens." The Qingqiu Nine-Tailed Fox clan was arranged as an affiliated tribe of the Yuan Sect. As for that aloof goddess Wangshu, Yuanqing would wait until after his sermon to give her a detailed and thorough individual instruction.
