Meanwhile—
Tongtian wished to forge a favorable karma with the Imperial Son of the Heavenly Emperor.
And elsewhere, within Daluo Heaven—
Having advanced his own path of the Great Dao by helping to open up the Boundary Sea, Yuanshi likewise witnessed the Imperial Son descending into Tang Valley.
After a single glance, Yuanshi withdrew his gaze:
"Let us follow the flow of heaven!"
The Imperial Son.
If he could forge a favorable karma with Chan Teaching, or simply enter his sect as a disciple, that would naturally be a matter of immense fortune, bringing boundless benefits to both himself and Chan Teaching.
Yet if there was no affinity—
It could not be forced!
Did one truly believe that the favorable karma of the Imperial Son was so easily acquired?
Such wishful thinking was best abandoned.
