At this moment, a young man with a short stature but determined eyes asked loudly, "Lord Martial Ancestor, what should we do if we encounter a bottleneck during cultivation and are unable to break through for a long time?"
Su Yu looked at him with a smile and said, "The path of cultivation is paved with thorns, and bottlenecks are a common occurrence. If you encounter one, do not be impatient. Look back on your cultivation journey, check if your foundation is unstable, or try a different method of cultivation. Sometimes, pausing and reflecting from a different perspective can lead to the opportunity for a breakthrough."
Another warrior, a woman holding a longbow, asked, "Lord Martial Ancestor, when we are in battle, how can we use the wisdom of the Martial Dao to overcome the strong with the weak?"
Su Yu nodded slightly and said, "The key to overcoming the strong with the weak lies in knowing yourself and your enemy, and playing to your own strengths. For example, since you are skilled in archery, you must utilize your range, maintain your distance, and look for your opponent's openings. At the same time, use your speed and agility to make yourself elusive. In battle, analyze calmly and adapt to changes; only then can you win by a surprise move."
As time passed, the sky gradually darkened, and bonfires were lit in the valley. Standing by the fire, its light reflecting off his resolute face, Su Yu continued to answer the clansmen's questions. The sermon lasted for a full hundred years, yet the clansmen showed no signs of fatigue, deeply immersed in the mysteries of the Martial Dao.
Finally, Su Yu said, "Clansmen, this sermon is drawing to a close. The path of the Martial Dao is long and arduous, but as long as we hold onto our faith and work together, we will surely reach the peak."
The clansmen knelt on the ground one after another, shouting in unison, "We will strictly follow the teachings of the Martial Ancestor!" Their voices resonated throughout the valley, echoing for a long time.
The light of the bonfires gradually dimmed. Although the clansmen were reluctant to leave, they began to head back. Enveloped in the night, the valley was quiet and peaceful, with only the smoldering embers exuding a faint heat, telling the tale of the grand sermon that had just concluded.
Su Yu watched his clansmen depart, then turned to look at Suiren, Youchao, and Zhiyi. His expression was serious yet filled with anticipation as he said slowly, "The three of you have now reached the realm of Daluo Golden Immortal, even a step higher than me. With you guarding the Human Race, I feel completely at ease! I plan to travel throughout the Primordial World to explore more mysteries of the Martial Dao and bring back more opportunities for our people."
Hearing this, Suiren’s eyes widened, and he hurriedly waved his hands. "Lord Martial Ancestor, you must not say that! Although the three of us reached the Daluo Golden Immortal realm through sheer luck and Merit, this increase in cultivation is too rapid—like a house built without a solid foundation; it looks tall, but it is actually unstable. How can it compare to your steady, step-by-step progress? That is true talent! The Primordial World is filled with hidden dangers; how can we rest easy knowing you are going?"
Youchao chimed in from the side, his brow furrowed with worry. "Martial Ancestor, the Primordial World is not our territory; it is full of unknown dangers. Those powerful races and mysterious beasts could push you into a desperate situation if you are not careful. You should stay with the Human Race, lead our cultivation, and let us work together to ensure the Human Race takes root in this valley and continues to grow."
Though Zhiyi did not speak, her eyes were filled with concern and reluctance; she bit her lip gently, as if contemplating how to dissuade Su Yu.
Su Yu merely smiled faintly, his gaze fixed firmly on the distance, as if he could already see the magnificent scenery of the Primordial World. "I understand your concerns, but my mind is made up. This Primordial World is the stage for the future of the Human Race. If I do not venture out myself, how will I know what opportunities and challenges the world holds? Moreover, I wish to find the opportunity to break through my current realm during this journey. Only by becoming stronger can I better protect the Human Race."
Suiren scratched his head, and a sudden inspiration struck him. He said, "How about this, Martial Ancestor: let the three of us go with you! The four of us, the 'Four Heavenly Kings of the Human Race,' could roam the Primordial World freely—who would dare provoke us then?"
Youchao rolled his eyes at him and snapped, "Stop with the nonsense. Someone has to guard the Human Race. If we all leave and another race comes to cause trouble, what are we supposed to do?"
Watching them bicker, Su Yu felt a sense of warmth in his heart. He said, "Do not worry. I will be careful on this journey. You three must continue to lead the clansmen in their cultivation and fully master the contents of my sermon. Remember, the goal of our Human Race is to dominate the Primordial World. The road ahead will be full of difficulties and obstacles, but as long as we work together, there is no hurdle we cannot overcome."
Suiren sighed helplessly and said, "Very well, Martial Ancestor. Since your mind is made up, we will not stop you. But you must promise us that if you encounter danger, you will return immediately. Our Human Race cannot do without you!"
Youchao and Zhiyi nodded in agreement.
Su Yu smiled slightly and said, "Rest assured, I will return safely. When I come back, I might even bring a method for you to break through your current cultivation, taking the strength of the Human Race to a new level!"
After bidding farewell to the three ancestors, Su Yu’s spiritual power surged, transforming him into a dazzling streak of light that instantly tore through the silent night sky, speeding toward the East Sea. The moonlight, like water, spilled over him, outlining his resolute silhouette, making him look like a star messenger burdened with a mission.
Behind him, Suiren was still shouting at the top of his lungs, "Martial Ancestor, remember to bring back some fun treasures! And if you run into someone powerful, turn around and run—don't fight them head-on!" Youchao tapped him on the shoulder and chided, "Stop talking nonsense; the Martial Ancestor knows what he's doing!"
Before long, Su Yu arrived at the shores of the East Sea. The East Sea was vast and boundless, with surging waves that roared like a galloping army, crashing against the coast and splashing layers of white foam. The sea breeze, carrying a salty, damp scent, rushed toward him, refreshing his spirit.
"Good heavens, the East Sea is truly imposing!" Su Yu exclaimed. His gaze swept back and forth over the surface of the sea, attempting to uncover the secrets of the Martial Dao hidden within these vast waters.
Su Yu flew slowly along the coastline. The wind whistled in his ears like a whisper. His eyes were sharp, missing nothing on the sea surface. Suddenly, a mysterious island appeared in the distance, surrounded by swirling clouds and exuding a faint, enigmatic aura, as if it were summoning him.
"This island doesn't look simple. It might just hold some treasures." Su Yu’s lips curled into a smile, and a spark of excitement flashed in his eyes. He changed direction immediately and flew toward the island.
As he approached, Su Yu sensed a powerful restrictive force, like an invisible wall, blocking outsiders from entering. This barrier emitted an ancient and mysterious aura, its glowing runes speaking of the vicissitudes of time.
"Heh, you think you can stop me? It won't be that easy!" Su Yu rubbed his hands together, eager to try. "Let me see just how powerful this innate restriction really is." He channeled his spiritual energy, his body glowing with brilliant light, and threw a punch. The force of it howled, slamming into the barrier with earth-shattering power.
The restriction trembled violently, its runes flickering wildly as it tried to withstand Su Yu's attack. But Su Yu was not one to admit defeat easily. He let out a loud shout, exerted more strength, and pushed the Chaos Astral Formula to its limit, his internal spiritual energy surging out like a torrential tide.
"Boom!" With a deafening sound, the restriction shattered, dissolving into countless streaks of light in the air. Su Yu let out a long sigh of relief, dusted off his clothes, and laughed, "This innate restriction is nothing much after all!"
Upon entering the island, he found the spiritual energy to be thick and substantial. Exotic flowers and rare herbs grew everywhere, and strange, wonderful beasts roamed among them. Su Yu explored the island until he stopped before a hidden cave. The cave emitted a unique aura, as if some treasure were calling to him.
Su Yu walked into the cave cautiously. Deep inside, a sword was floating in mid-air, the blade emitting a faint purple light, with spiritual energy coiling around it like silk threads.
"Could this be a legendary Innate Spiritual Treasure?" Su Yu’s eyes were filled with surprise. He stepped forward quickly to examine the sword. On the blade, the characters "Zixu" were inscribed in an ancient, vigorous script that seemed to contain infinite power.
Su Yu gently gripped the hilt, and instantly, a powerful force surged into his body, resonating with his own spiritual energy. "What a catch! This is definitely a treasure!" Su Yu said excitedly. "Although it doesn't compare to my Human-Creating Whip, this Zixu Sword will be perfect for increasing the foundation of the Human Race."
He tucked the Zixu Sword away, thinking, "The clansmen will be thrilled when I get back. With this Zixu Sword, the strength of our people will jump up a notch. Who knows? Maybe one day a great swordsman will emerge among us, and with this sword, they will make a name for themselves in the Primordial World!"
Just as Su Yu was happily imagining the scene of his return, the clouds in the sky suddenly shifted, and the clear blue was instantly swallowed by ink-black clouds. A gale began to howl, sweeping across the island and blowing the flowers and trees askew. Su Yu looked up and saw several figures descending rapidly from the clouds, landing firmly before him.
The newcomers were members of the Dragon Clan, each exuding the powerful aura of a Taiyi Golden Immortal. The leader, who had a pair of thick dragon horns on his head and scales that glimmered with a cold, ghostly light, stared at him with greed and arrogance. He let out an arrogant roar, "Boy, hand over that Innate Spiritual Treasure you just picked up! The treasures of the East Sea have always belonged to the Dragon Clan!"
Su Yu’s lips curled slightly into a look of disdain. He mocked, "Oh, look at that. Where did these big worms come from, blocking my path and trying to rob me? I found this treasure on this island; how did it suddenly become the property of the Dragon Clan? Are you lot the 'local tyrants' of the Primordial World, wanting to claim everything you see?"
The Dragon Clan leader was so enraged that he was practically fuming, his dragon whiskers trembling violently. He shouted angrily, "You ignorant fool! In this East Sea, the Dragon Clan is the law! If you don't hand over the treasure today, you won't leave here alive!" With that, the dragons behind him opened their blood-filled maws and unleashed torrents of dragon breath, imbued with immense spiritual power, sweeping toward Su Yu like fire.
