After fully recovering inside the cave, Su Yu stretched his body comfortably. The fluorescent moss within the cave flickered gently, as if rejoicing at his recovery. Gazing at the mottled sunlight filtering through the cave entrance, he hooked the corner of his mouth into a cunning smile. "Hmph, Four Seas Dragon Kings, just you wait. I remember this score crystal clear." With that, he looked down at his own hands and muttered, "Though I can't go toe-to-toe with those four old fellows just yet, teaching their underlings a lesson is more than enough."
Packing his belongings, Su Yu muttered to himself, "Those little dragon whelps usually throw their weight around, relying on the might of the Dragon Clan. This time, I'll make sure they learn that I, Su Yu, am not someone to be trifled with. Still, I shouldn't go too far. If I end up provoking those ancient monsters lurking in the dragon dens, I'll be in deep trouble."
Stepping out of the cave, the warm sunlight washed over him, and a gentle breeze brought the salty scent of the distant sea. Su Yu took a deep breath, feeling the surging power within his body, and smiled. "This healing trip has paid off quite well. It's about time to give the Dragon Clan a taste of my power."
Following a stream down to the shore, Su Yu looked out at the boundless East Sea, pondering where to strike first. "I hear the East Sea Dragon Clan has quite a few outposts in these waters. I'll go scout around first and see if I can catch a few stragglers." With that, he channeled his divine powers, transforming into a streak of light as he sped toward the area where the Dragon Clan frequently roamed.
After flying for a long while, Su Yu arrived near an island and spotted a sizable underwater outpost in the distance. Surrounding the outpost, a group of shrimp soldiers and crab generals were patrolling back and forth. They held weapons and looked vigilant, though their formation was actually quite lax. High up in the outpost, a tall Dragon Clan commander lazily supervised them.
Hiding beneath the surface of the water, Su Yu quietly observed. "Well, well, they look heavily guarded, but their defenses are full of holes. Looks like I'll need to use my wits."
Just as he was thinking this, Su Yu noticed the Dragon Clan commander seemed displeased with the patrolling shrimp soldiers and crab generals. After letting out a harsh scolding, the commander took a few trusted guards and headed off into the distance to inspect things personally. Su Yu's eyes lit up, and he chuckled softly, "Here comes my chance." Silently trailing behind them, Su Yu waited until the distance was just right before suddenly bursting out of the water. "Hello there, everyone. Remember me?"
The group of shrimp soldiers and crab generals trembled violently from the sudden turn of events, nearly dropping their weapons. The Dragon Clan commander, built sturdily with a pair of thick dragon horns, widened his eyes and cried out in terror, "Su... Su Yu! You actually dare show your face here? The Dragon Kings have been searching all over for you!"
Wearing a playful expression, Su Yu crossed his arms and bantered, "Oh? It seems my reputation as Su Yu is quite resounding. You all recognize me? Perfect, that saves me the trouble of an introduction." A flash of cold light crossed his eyes as he added, "Today is your unlucky day. Who told you to be underlings of the Dragon Clan?"
A scrawny shrimp soldier raised a broadsword with trembling hands, trying to muster some courage. "Don't be so arrogant! We may only be ordinary soldiers, but we won't just let you slaughter us!"
Su Yu burst into loud laughter, the sound echoing through the seawater. "Just you lot? A bunch of mob rule! Talk about overestimating yourselves!" The moment his voice fell, his figure moved like lightning, instantly appearing right in front of the scrawny shrimp soldier. Before the soldier could react, Su Yu unleashed a fierce punch wrapped in whistling wind, striking him squarely in the chest. With a crisp "crack," the shrimp soldier's ribcage shattered completely. Letting out a miserable shriek, his body flew backward like a kite with a severed string, vanishing into the deep, dark ocean.
Seeing this, the remaining shrimp soldiers and crab generals were utterly shocked and rushed forward shouting. The Dragon Clan commander roared with rage, brandishing his long spear as he thrust fiercely at Su Yu's head, the tip gleaming with cold light. The group of shrimp soldiers and crab generals swarmed in from all directions—some slashing wildly with broadswords, others waving giant pincers in an attempt to pinch Su Yu.
Unflustered, Su Yu lightly tipped his toes, drifting backward as gracefully as a willow catkin to easily evade everyone's attacks. With a cold sneer, he said, "Is that all the skill you've got? Not even worth looking at!" Then, Su Yu quickly formed hand seals with both hands, chanting incantations under his breath. In an instant, the surrounding seawater seemed to answer a summons, rapidly condensing into countless sharp ice spikes that tightly encircled the Dragon Clan commander and his soldiers.
"What... what kind of divine power is this!" the crowd cried out in terror.
Su Yu's lips curled into a cruel smile. "This is an improved version of your very own Dragon Clan ice magic. Enjoy it!" With a fierce push of his hands, the ice spikes shot toward them like a torrential downpour.
They fought desperately to fend them off, but there were simply too many ice spikes to defend against every angle. In the blink of an eye, the shrimp soldiers and crab generals were pierced by the spikes one after another, their continuous screams staining the surrounding seawater red with blood. Though the Dragon Clan commander possessed greater strength and managed to resist for a brief moment, he was ultimately pierced through the body by multiple ice spikes, losing his breath as he slowly sank to the ocean floor.
Looking at the scene before him, Su Yu nodded with satisfaction. "Hmph, if you dare provoke me, this is what you get!" Without the slightest hesitation, he quickly searched their bodies. Sure enough, he found various Dragon Clan cultivation resources on them—spirit crystals radiating rich spiritual energy, as well as jade slips recording Dragon Clan techniques.
"Haha, these are all good things!" Su Yu said excitedly, pocketing all the resources. Afterward, glancing around to ensure no other Dragon Clan soldiers had rushed over, he used his divine powers to transform into a streak of light, rapidly fleeing the scene.
On his return flight, Su Yu thought triumphantly, "This trip's harvest is truly not small. Not only did I get my revenge, but I also obtained so many treasures. Four Seas Dragon Kings, just you wait; there will be plenty more of this to come!"
Returning to the isolated island with his spoils, Su Yu rested briefly in the cave before his restless nature took over again. Rubbing his hands together with excitement flashing in his eyes, he muttered, "No, this is just the beginning. I need to go find some more 'fun' for the Dragon Clan." With that, he once again transformed into a streak of light and sped toward the depths of the East Sea.
Not long after flying, Su Yu discovered the second Dragon Clan outpost. Located near a coral reef with crystal-clear water and colorful fish darting through the surroundings, it looked peaceful and serene on the surface, yet hid dangers underneath. Outside the outpost, a mixed patrol unit composed of sea-serpent spirits and merfolk moved with agile postures and vigilant gazes.
Hiding in the distance, Su Yu observed through the water. "Well, this lineup is a bit interesting, but it won't stump me." He hooked the corners of his mouth upward into a confident smile.
Taking advantage of the patrol's shift change, Su Yu quietly sneaked in. Moving like a nimble fish darting swiftly through the water, he approached the outpost without a sound. Just then, a merfolk sentinel seemed to sense something amiss and whipped his head around. Su Yu was slightly startled, but his reaction was lightning-fast; he instantly cast an invisibility spell, vanishing on the spot.
The merfolk sentinel looked around suspiciously, muttering under his breath, "Strange, it felt like something was just here." Just as he was about to call for backup, Su Yu suddenly materialized behind him and brought a hand-edge chop down on his neck, knocking the sentinel out instantly.
Having disposed of the sentinel, Su Yu pushed deeper into the outpost. He discovered a secret chamber stacked with all kinds of rare spiritual items and magic treasures. His eyes lit up as he said excitedly, "Haha, I've struck it rich this time!" Quickly pocketing these treasures, he prepared to leave.
However, the moment he turned around, the chamber door suddenly flew open, and a sea-serpent spirit commander rushed in followed by a group of subordinates. Darting his forked tongue in and out, the sea-serpent commander viciously demanded, "Who are you? How dare you break into our outpost and steal things!"
Wearing a playful expression, Su Yu smiled and replied, "Oh, you caught me. Let me introduce myself—I am none other than Su Yu, the one giving the Four Seas Dragon Kings a headache."
Hearing this, the sea-serpent commander's expression changed drastically. "So it's you! You won't be leaving here alive today!" With that, he and his subordinates unleashed their divine powers. The sea-serpent spirits spat streams of venom, while the merfolk fired sharp water arrows, all assaulting Su Yu.
Unflustered, Su Yu brandished the Human-Creating Whip, its whipping shadows forming an illusion that intercepted and blocked every single attack. "With just this little bit of skill, you want to keep me here?" Su Yu taunted. "Watch how I deal with you!" With that, he unleashed the Eighteen Dragon-Subduing Palms, the roaring palm winds sending the sea-serpent spirits and merfolk tumbling in disarray.
After a fierce battle, the sea-serpent commander and his subordinates collapsed to the ground, and Su Yu walked away in triumph with his bountiful spoils.
Leaving the second outpost, Su Yu wasted no time in searching for his next target. Deep within a sea canyon, he discovered a third Dragon Clan outpost. Built near an underwater volcano where magma churned and radiated scorching heat, the guards stationed here were all fire-attribute sea creatures possessing formidable strength and volatile tempers.
Looking at the scene before him, Su Yu muttered to himself, "This place is a bit tricky, but since I'm already here, how can I return empty-handed?" He cautiously approached the outpost, using the surrounding terrain for cover.
Just as Su Yu prepared to launch his attack, a fire-attribute sea soldier suddenly spotted him. The soldier shouted, "We have an alarm!" Instantly, the guards throughout the entire outpost sprang into action, unleashing fire-attribute divine powers. Streams of flames spewed from their hands, heating the surrounding seawater to a rolling boil.
Seeing this, Su Yu hurriedly executed the Wind God Legs, weaving effortlessly through the sea of fire. "You guys only know how to play with fire—watch me cool you down!" With that, Su Yu summoned a dark raincloud. Lightning flashed and thunder rolled within the cloud, sending bolts of lightning crashing down upon the fire-attribute sea soldiers.
Under the onslaught of lightning, the fire-attribute sea soldiers' formation fell into complete chaos, and Su Yu seized the opportunity to strike. Brandishing the Human-Creating Whip, he utterly routed the soldiers. After a fierce battle, Su Yu successfully captured the third outpost, harvesting a massive quantity of fire-attribute spiritual items and magic treasures.
With these spoils in hand, Su Yu returned contentedly to the isolated island. Gazing at his harvest, he said triumphantly, "Haha, this trip to the East Sea has truly been a fruitful one. Four Seas Dragon Kings, just you wait and see—I, Su Yu, will bring you even more surprises!"
