Su Yu led his newly born human brothers and sisters to find a valley rich in spiritual energy across the Primordial World, where they set up camp. Working together with one heart, some built simple shelters while others gathered wild fruits to stave off hunger. Though the days were hard, they were filled with warmth and joy.
Suddenly, a myriad of auspicious rays and thousands of colorful glows bloomed across the sky today, and a majestic, boundless aura swept down from the vault of heaven. Su Yu felt a jolt in his heart, knowing some major event was afoot, and hurriedly led the crowd to kneel and kowtow. With light steps, Goddess Nuwa drifted down slowly from the clouds, her expression solemn and dignified, a five-colored halo trailing brilliantly behind her like a bolt of silk.
Nuwa parted her lips slightly: "With the power of my own being, I have created the Human Race, hoping they will multiply and flourish, taking their place among the myriad beings of the Primordial World. Today, I vow before the Heavenly Dao to protect the path of the Human Race." With that, her hands formed hand seals, her nimble fingers seeming to pull at the fabric of heaven and earth rules as mysterious runes rose from her palms, spinning and flashing in the air as if communicating with the supreme existence in the nether world.
Su Yu looked up, his eyes filled with reverence and awe. He saw the radiance around Nuwa grow increasingly intense. Facing the firmament, she proclaimed in a ringing voice: "I, Nuwa, hereby swear to the Heavenly Dao that now the Human Race has come forth, I shall exhaust all my strength to keep them safe. Upon their path of growth, I grant them wisdom to awaken their spiritual clarity, bestow skills to build their homeland, banish disasters and perils to prevent early death, and guide fortuitous encounters to foster prosperity. Should I break this oath, may I suffer the punishment of the Heavenly Dao, my soul scattered and extinguished forever, never to transcend!"
Once the vow was cast, it rang through the Primordial World like a great bell tolled in a temple. The winds and clouds of heaven and earth shifted in color, and thunder rumbled above the firmament as if the Heavenly Dao were responding to Nuwa's solemn promise. Threads of golden contract light descended from the ninth heaven, wrapping around Nuwa's entire body before transforming into motes of tiny light that merged into the glabella of every single human, becoming an invisible protection.
With tears in his eyes, Su Yu cupped his hands and bowed to Nuwa: "For the Goddess's immense grace, we of the Human Race shall engrave it in our hearts, worshiping you from generation to generation, never daring to forget!" The crowd shouted in unison as well, sounds of gratitude echoing through the valley.
Just as everyone was immersed in this solemn atmosphere, a sudden change occurred! A dazzling golden light burst forth abruptly above the firmament, resembling the simultaneous blooming of billions of stars. Su Yu widened his eyes and looked closely—it was a torrential flood of merit pouring down from the sky like a golden cascade.
Seventy percent of that golden light of merit, resembling a majestic heavenly river, surged overwhelmingly toward Goddess Nuwa. Standing amidst the golden light of merit, Goddess Nuwa's visage grew increasingly holy, and her surrounding aura climbed step by step. The Hongmeng Purple Qi originally hidden within her body now thrashed wildly like a awakened dragon. Amidst the intermingling of merit and purple qi, Goddess Nuwa successfully broke through to the Dao Fruit of a Sage. In an instant, the time and space around her seemed to freeze, and endless forces of natural law encircled her body, as though she had become the master of this heaven and earth, her every movement capable of triggering celestial anomalies.
Ten percent of the merit, like a nimble ribbon, drifted leisurely toward the Primordial Gourd Vine. The vine, which was already radiating a mysterious glow, was now enveloped by the light of merit, shining with dazzling brilliance. In the blink of an eye, the gourd vine underwent a complete transformation, becoming a Primordial Merit Supreme Treasure—the Human-Creating Whip. The whip body was crystal clear, with runes flashing across it, exuding an ancient and powerful aura as if a mere gentle wave could split heaven and earth apart.
Another ten percent of the merit transformed into fine golden specks, like a dense spring rain showering upon the many humans. Everyone felt the light of contract at their glabella grow warmer, and a boundless power slowly poured into their bodies. The once-cloudy eyes of the elders grew bright and sharp, and the playful laughter of the children seemed to carry a bit more spiritual essence. This power of merit awakened the spiritual intelligence of the Human Race, endowing them with greater survival capabilities so they could better multiply and thrive in this Primordial World.
As for the final ten percent of the merit, as if locking onto a target, it flew straight toward Su Yu. Su Yu instinctively raised his hand to block, only to see that the light of merit, the moment it touched him, was swallowed whole by the Lingxiao Jade within his sea of consciousness. The Lingxiao Jade drank in the power of merit ravenously like a long-parched land meeting sweet rain; its once-warm jade body now flashed brilliantly, and the mysterious patterns within the jade wriggled like living things, bursting forth with unprecedented splendor.
"Hey, old buddy, what kind of commotion are you trying to kick up this time?" Su Yu muttered inwardly, communicating with the Lingxiao Jade.
After a long while, the glow of the Lingxiao Jade gradually subsided, as if it had finished digesting this sudden influx of energy. Su Yu felt the aura within his body surge; his martial arts strength blended with this primordial power of merit, granting him entirely new insights into his own strength. Clenching his fists and feeling the surging power within him, a rebellious smile curled the corner of his mouth: "Now, here in the Primordial World, I can swagger around even more wildly!"
The little human companions gathered around, their eyes full of curiosity and envy. A chubby little boy tugged at the corner of Su Yu's garment and asked with wide, blinking eyes: "Big Brother, you've gotten stronger again! Does that mean you can lead us to beat up all the bad guys from now on?"
Su Yu scooped up the little boy in a hearty laugh: "Of course! With me around, we don't fear a thing!" With that, he deliberately punched the air a few times, sending everyone into fits of laughter.
Goddess Nuwa witnessed all this, nodding slightly with deep gratification in her eyes: "Since the Human Race has such fortune, they shall surely flourish hereafter. Su Yu, as the leader of the Human Race, you must use this power well and lead the Human Race toward glory."
Su Yu hurriedly put the little boy down and respectfully bowed to Nuwa: "Rest assured, Goddess, I, Su Yu, will certainly not fail your expectations. It's just that in this Primordial World, experts are as numerous as clouds, and we still require much tempering. I wonder if the Goddess has any counsel for us?"
Nuwa pondered slightly, her expression solemn as she said: "Within the Primordial World, various factions are intricate and complex. You must lead the Human Race to find a foundation for survival, study skills, and enhance your strength. You may befriend various factions, but you must also remain vigilant against those with malicious intentions. Though I have attained sagehood and can protect you for a time, I cannot shield the Human Race for all eternity. The path of the future must still be stepped out by you yourselves, step by step."
Su Yu cupped his hands in obedience: "Your words of gold and jade, Goddess, are engraved in my heart. I will surely lead the brothers to practice diligently and forge wide bonds of affinity, ensuring the Human Race stands firm in this Primordial World!"
Goddess Nuwa nodded slightly, her gaze falling upon the brilliantly glowing Human-Creating Whip. She raised her hand gently, and the whip flew toward her palm as if endowed with a spirit. Studying it for a moment, a flash of determination crossed her eyes before she walked with light steps toward Su Yu.
"Su Yu, this Human-Creating Whip will be of immense benefit to the future development of your Human Race. Today, I bestow it upon you. May you use this treasure well to keep the Human Race safe and lead them onto the path of prosperity." Nuwa's voice was soft yet carried an unquestionable majesty as she handed the Human-Creating Whip over to Su Yu.
Su Yu widened his eyes, filled with pleasant surprise and disbelief. He froze for a moment before snapping back to reality, hurriedly dropping to one knee and raising the whip high above his head with both hands to receive it respectfully, while cracking a joke: "Wow, Goddess, this is truly too awesome! With this treasure, I feel like I could take on Primordial behemoths single-handedly—oh wait, I mean lead the brothers to sweep across the armies and reach the peak of life! Just you watch."
Amused by his antics, Nuwa chuckled softly and chided him: "You little rascal, do not slack off. You bear a heavy responsibility and must not lower your guard."
"Don't worry, Goddess, I know what I'm doing!" Su Yu stood up, carefully tucking the Human-Creating Whip into his waist belt and patting it gently, looking just like someone who had just acquired the most precious toy in the world.
Recovering his solemn expression, Nuwa swept her gaze across the surroundings, her voice suddenly rising to ring like a great bell across the heaven and earth: "I hereby announce to all realms of the Primordial World: the Human Race is created by my own hands and is under my protection. From this day forth, for one hundred thousand years, anyone who dares to make a move against the Human Race shall die!"
This declaration sounded like a thunderbolt, instantly spreading to every corner of the Primordial World. Mountains and rivers shook, winds and clouds shifted, and the spiritual energy between heaven and earth seemed to vibrate in response to this majestic proclamation. Hearing this, all factions—whether great fiends lurking in deep mountains and old forests or powerful beings entrenched in immortal mountains and blessed lands—felt a chill strike their hearts.
Su Yu looked at Nuwa's transcendent back, his heart filled with gratitude and soaring ambition. Only after Nuwa's figure gradually turned translucent and finally vanished did he snap out of it and turn back to face his clansmen.
"You all heard the Goddess! With her treating us so well, we've got to pull our weight! From now on, give me your twelve-part attention, follow me in diligent cultivation, and build this valley into an impregnable fortress so those evil-minded bastards wouldn't even dare dream of plotting against us." As he spoke, Su Yu brandished the Human-Creating Whip in his hand, tracing brilliant arcs of light through the air and drawing a cheer from the crowd.
The chubby little boy ran over again, shouting at the top of his lungs: "Big Brother, with this powerful whip, can we go out and explore now? I really want to see the outside world."
Su Yu scooped him up and laughed: "What's the rush? The outside world is dangerous; we need to master our skills first. Once we're all strong enough, Big Brother will take you all out to eat, drink, and be merry, and incidentally let this Primordial World know the might of our Human Race!"
