Zhenyuanzi’s face was etched with agony. He could no longer hold back his tears, which streamed down his cheeks. He stared fixedly at Hongyun, his eyes full of reluctance, as if he were trying to carve Hongyun’s image deep into his mind. "Hongyun, don’t go! I will find a way to save you!" Inside the main hall, the atmosphere was suffocating, as if the entire world were shrouded in grief. Zhenyuanzi’s eyes were filled with pain and defiance; he kept his gaze locked on the fading soul of his friend, as if the sheer intensity of his stare could hold him fast. The scent of sandalwood grew heavy, swirling around the two of them, seemingly mourning this impending separation.
