He felt like prey stalked by a ferocious beast; deep in his soul, a sense of intense crisis surged due to his fear and grievance. It would take only a few moments for him to become like a fish drowning in water. Even though he was in a comfortable environment, he was being stimulated into a dazed, stupefied state. His head felt as if it were stuffed with cotton, bringing on an unbearable urgency, as though he were deprived of oxygen.
