My mind was a complete mess as I listened to what sounded like a family of three talking. I felt utterly helpless; I hadn't even been in this time-space for many days, yet all I had done was get injured. The worst part was that I was completely innocent.
At first hearing, the middle-aged uncle seemed to be plotting some dirty trick, which scared me into desperately looking for a way to escape.
