Even the Celestial Court operates under the laws of the Heavenly Dao. An Immortal Emperor must pass through countless tribulations and accumulate vast merit and blessings before finally ascending to that throne. He cannot violate the Heavenly Dao, nor can he interfere in the affairs of the Human Realm. Whatever karmic retribution the Human Realm incurs, its people must bear by themselves.
Ever since the creation of heaven and earth, the cosmic order has been firmly established. Evil deeds bring evil retribution; good deeds bring good rewards.
