In the Capital, during late spring, willow catkins drifted like snow. Outside the hanging flower gate of the Prince’s Mansion, a few children stood on tiptoe, peering inside, until an old nursemaid guarding the courtyard shooed them away with a chuckle: "Little ancestors, do not disturb the Old Madame's rest."
"We won't!" A young girl wearing her hair in twin buns shook her pigtails. "We want to hear the story of the Prince and the Princess!"
